Conference program

September 6 is the arrival day. The scientific program will be held from September 7 (Monday, opening session in the morning) to September 11. Besides two or three one-hour lectures by each invited speaker, 20-30 minutes talks are planned for other participants. The daily program will be divided into two sessions: one in the morning and one after dinner. This leaves the afternoons free for exploring the beautiful surroundings. One free day (Tuesday or Wednesday) is planned, with an opportunity for a whole-day trip, followed by a social dinner.

Venue

Tatranská Lomnica is one of the local tourist centers in High Tatras. There are many possibilities for hiking trips, at various difficulty levels. For good sources of information about the High Tatras see www.vysoketatry.com or www.tanap.sk .

Lodging and board

Lodging and full board in the hotel restaurant are covered by the conference fees. The hotel offers mostly double bed rooms. For a limited number of participants, single occupancy can be ordered for a surcharge (see conference fees below). The full board includes all meals from dinner on September 6 to lunch on September 11.
