To v\u0161etko paralelne s programovan\u00edm preberan\u00e9ho u\u010diva vo viacer\u00fdch programovac\u00edch jazykoch, bez ktor\u00e9ho sa in\u017einier dnes vo v\u00e4\u010d\u0161ej \u010di men\u0161ej miere nezaob\u00edde. Z praxe m\u00f4\u017eem potvrdi\u0165, \u017ee proces v\u00fdvoja produktov sa \u010doraz viac spolieha pr\u00e1ve na po\u010d\u00edta\u010dov\u00e9 modely a simul\u00e1cie, na ktor\u00e9 s\u00fa t\u00fdm p\u00e1dom kladen\u00e9 viac a viac n\u00e1ro\u010dnej\u0161ie po\u017eiadavky. <span id=\"steckova-referencia\">Simuluj\u00fa<\/span> sa men\u0161ie zmeny dizajnu produktu az po komplexn\u00e9 multifyzik\u00e1lne probl\u00e9my kombinuj\u00face pevnostn\u00e9, vibra\u010dn\u00e9 anal\u00fdzy spolu s prestupom tepla \u010di pr\u00faden\u00edm tekut\u00edn alebo elektromgnetizmom. Firmy s vlastn\u00fdm v\u00fdvojom vyh\u013ead\u00e1vaj\u00fa in\u017einierov nielen na simul\u00e1cie ako tak\u00e9 ale aj na v\u00fdvoj vlastn\u00fdch simula\u010dn\u00fdch softv\u00e9rov zameran\u00fdch na potreby produktov firmy. Doteraz mi rezonuje v pam\u00e4ti, ako sme sa s jedn\u00fdm v\u00fdborn\u00fdm predn\u00e1\u0161aj\u00facim dostali od hodnotenia m\u00f4jho zadania k diskusii o determinizme. Vysoko hodnot\u00edm aj pr\u00edstup k mnoh\u00fdm predn\u00e1\u0161kam, kedy v\u00e1m nielen odpredn\u00e1\u0161aj\u00fa u\u010divo, ale aj ho \u0161tudentom na re\u00e1lnych pr\u00edkladoch vysvet\u013euj\u00fa. Premenu sucho znej\u00facich pou\u010diek na fascinuj\u00face aplika\u010dn\u00e9 mo\u017enosti som za\u017eila ve\u013eakr\u00e1t. A \u017ee to nie je be\u017en\u00e1 prax, hovor\u00ed spomienka z prv\u00fdch t\u00fd\u017ed\u0148ov v prv\u00e1ku. Spolu\u017eiak, toho \u010dasu s\u00fa\u010dasne tretiak na Matfyze, s nad\u0161en\u00edm vyhlasoval, \u017ee sa kone\u010dne dozvedel, na \u010do je v re\u00e1lnom \u017eivote dobr\u00fd gradient (v matematike be\u017en\u00fd pojem). Som promovan\u00e1 in\u017einierka matemati\u010dka, \u010do samo o sebe znie paradoxne. To, \u010do som sa nau\u010di\u0165 chcela, viem. Namodelujem jav. Alebo predmet. Alebo jav p\u00f4sobiaci na predmet. Do toho si nie\u010do naprogramujem. Napr\u00edklad tak\u00fd Twitter (jedno z re\u00e1lnych zadan\u00ed ;)). Alebo si zanalyzujem d\u00e1ta. M\u00f4\u017eem si aj \u010do to zoptimalizova\u0165. Alebo spo\u010d\u00edta\u0165 pravdepodobnos\u0165. <span id=\"daniel-referencia\">Jednoducho <\/span>, kto m\u00e1 re\u00e1lny z\u00e1ujem sa vzdel\u00e1va\u0165, MPM mu m\u00f4\u017ee by\u0165 dobr\u00fdm odrazov\u00fdm most\u00edkom, s matematikou a programovan\u00edm sa d\u00e1 robi\u0165 takmer \u010doko\u013evek. A navy\u0161e sa tu nau\u010d\u00edte nie\u010do, \u010do si mnoh\u00ed zamestn\u00e1vatelia cenia ove\u013ea viac ako samotn\u00fd titul v obore. Kr\u00e1tko po \u00faspe\u0161nom ukon\u010den\u00ed \u0161t\u00fadia som absolvoval dvojmesa\u010dn\u00fa st\u00e1\u017e v Indii, k \u010domu mi dopomohol aj m\u00f4j profil absolventa na rozhran\u00ed matematiky a informatiky. Po n\u00e1vrate sp\u00e4\u0165 do Eur\u00f3py som sa z Bratislavy presunul do Par\u00ed\u017ea, kde u\u017e dva roky pracujem ako doktorand vo franc\u00fazskom n\u00e1rodnom in\u0161tit\u00fate pre v\u00fdskum v informatike, aplikovanej matematike a automatiz\u00e1cii &#8211; INRIA. Po\u010das posledn\u00fdch dvoch rokov str\u00e1ven\u00fdch vo Franc\u00fazsku som mal mo\u017enos\u0165 prenikn\u00fa\u0165 e\u0161te hlb\u0161ie do sveta matematiky a numerick\u00fdch met\u00f3d, no m\u00f4\u017eem skon\u0161tatova\u0165, \u017ee \u0161t\u00fadium na MPM mi dalo z\u00e1kladn\u00fd bal\u00edk vedomost\u00ed, s ktor\u00fdm som sa dok\u00e1zal u\u017e v za\u010diatkoch orientova\u0165 v spleti nov\u00fdch defin\u00edci\u00ed a d\u00f4kazov. Ako ve\u013ek\u00fa v\u00fdhodu vn\u00edmam, \u017ee sme hne\u010f od za\u010diatku \u0161t\u00fadia boli v kontakte s programovan\u00edm, \u010do napr\u00edklad na ekvivalentnom \u0161tudijnom programe na Univerzite Par\u00ed\u017e VI nie je pre v\u0161etk\u00fdch \u0161tudentov samozrejmos\u0165 a niektor\u00ed sa k samotn\u00e9mu programovaniu dostan\u00fa a\u017e po\u010das doktor\u00e1tu. \u010co som vn\u00edmal ako nedostatok MPM bola mo\u017enos\u0165 vo\u013eby pri v\u00fdbere kurzov, najm\u00e4 v druhom stupni \u0161t\u00fadia, no mysl\u00edm, \u017ee aj toto sa tie\u017e u\u017e \u010dasom podarilo vychyta\u0165. Mikulu. Doktorandsk\u00e9 v odbore aplikovan\u00e1 matematika som tie\u017e absolvoval u\u0148ho. V\u00e1\u017eil som si u neho dve veci. Po prv\u00e9 to bol individu\u00e1lny pr\u00edstup k \u0161tudentom \u2013 ke\u010f som mu povedal, \u017ee sa nejak\u00fd predmet lep\u0161ie nau\u010d\u00edm z vide\u00ed na YouTube ako seden\u00edm v \u0161kole, akceptoval to, a nechal ma \u00eds\u0165 si svojou cestou. Po druh\u00e9, vedel umne integrova\u0165 \u0161tudentov do vedeck\u00fdch procesov na fakulte. Z toho som, koniec koncov, profitoval aj ja \u2013 na jar 2011 som <span id=\"huska-referencia\">vyhral<\/span> \u010deskoslovensk\u00e9 kolo \u0160VO\u010c v aplikovanej matematike. Toto je dnes u\u017e iba mil\u00fd mal\u00fd \u00faspech, ktor\u00fd vtedy ale v mojom \u0161tudentskom \u017eivotopise dos\u0165 dobre vyzeral. Vedel som v\u0161ak, \u017ee ani \u010dist\u00e1 matematika, ani \u201ehard-core\u201c programovanie by pre m\u0148a nebolo to prav\u00e9. Nakoniec som sa po dlhom prieskume a \u010d\u00edtan\u00ed \u0161tudijn\u00fdch pl\u00e1nov rozhodol pre MPM. Samotn\u00e9 \u0161t\u00fadium na MPM malo pre m\u0148a viacer\u00e9 v\u00fdhody. Oproti \u201eve\u013ek\u00fdm\u201c \u0161tudijn\u00fdm programom,kde sa niekedy n\u00e1jde aj okolo \u0161tyristo \u0161tudentov v ro\u010dn\u00edku, m\u00f4j ro\u010dn\u00edk ako jeden z najpo\u010detnej\u0161\u00edch, mal dokopy okolo dvadsa\u0165 \u017eiakov, \u010do neraz dopom\u00e1halo nielen k osobnej\u0161iemu pr\u00edstupu vyu\u010duj\u00facich, ale aj k ochote komunikova\u0165 a o preberanej tematike diskutova\u0165 aj mimo rozvrhom vy\u010dlenen\u00e9ho \u010dasu. Taktie\u017e, ani t\u00ed hanblivej\u0161\u00ed \u0161tudenti sa po\u010das predn\u00e1\u0161ky neb\u00e1li sp\u00fdta\u0165 na nie\u010do, \u010do im nebolo v t\u00fa chv\u00ed\u013eu jasn\u00e9. \u0160trukt\u00farou sa MPM del\u00ed na bakal\u00e1rske 3-ro\u010dn\u00e9 a in\u017einierske 2-ro\u010dn\u00e9 \u0161t\u00fadium ako v\u00e4\u010d\u0161ina odborov vo svete. Obsahovo sa d\u00e1 taktie\u017e rozdeli\u0165 na dva stupne. V tom prvom, na za\u010diatku, je potrebn\u00e9 vy\u0161tudova\u0165 matematicko-fyzik\u00e1lne z\u00e1klady a postupy ako Anal\u00fdza a Algebra, ktor\u00fdch poznatky sa nesk\u00f4r vyu\u017e\u00edvaj\u00fa v druhej polovici bakal\u00e1rskeho stup\u0148a, kedy sa do popredia dost\u00e1vaj\u00fa predmety zameran\u00e9 na samotn\u00e9 aplik\u00e1cie ako napr\u00edklad Po\u010d\u00edta\u010dov\u00e1 grafika. Druh\u00e1 \u201epolovica\u201c \u0161t\u00fadia (in\u017einiersky stupe\u0148) je hlavne zameran\u00e1 na \u0161pecifick\u00e9 odvetvia\/odbory, kde sa d\u00e1 aplikovan\u00e1 matematika vyu\u017ei\u0165, \u010di u\u017e vo v\u00fdskume, vo v\u00fdvoji alebo v be\u017enej praxi. Okrem toho sa po\u010das cel\u00fdch piatich rokov \u0161tudenti nau\u010dia a akt\u00edvne vyu\u017e\u00edvaj\u00fa programovanie v najvyu\u017e\u00edvanej\u0161\u00edch aplik\u00e1ci\u00e1ch a jazykoch. Pre m\u0148a ako \u0161tudenta malo najv\u00e4\u010d\u0161\u00ed v\u00fdznam z\u00edskanie preh\u013eadu vo sf\u00e9re aplikovanej matematiky a jej vyu\u017eite\u013enosti v odvetviach ako spom\u00ednan\u00e1 Po\u010d\u00edta\u010dov\u00e1 grafika, Finan\u010dn\u00e1 matematika, Anal\u00fdza \u010dasov\u00fdch radov, Spracovanie obrazu, at\u010f. Po \u0161t\u00fadiu MPM som sa rozhodol pokra\u010dova\u0165 v doktorandskom \u0161t\u00fadiu, ktor\u00e9 v roku 2017 s\u00edce ukon\u010d\u00edm pod z\u00e1\u0161titou Padovskej univerzity, no samotn\u00e9 pracovisko a kancel\u00e1riu m\u00e1m na Katedre matematiky Bolonskej univerzity. Po\u010das PhD \u0161t\u00fadia som sa zameral na digit\u00e1lne spracovanie objektov nasn\u00edman\u00fdch 3D skenerom, pre v\u00fdskum ktor\u00fdch moje z\u00edskan\u00e9 znalosti programovac\u00edch jazykov a v\u00fdpo\u010dtov\u00fdch programov \u010faleko presahovali miestne \u0161tandardy. Nadobudnut\u00e9 teoretick\u00e9 znalosti a rozh\u013ead mi pre t\u00fato \u0161pecializ\u00e1ciu poskytli pevn\u00e9 z\u00e1klady na rie\u0161enie probl\u00e9mov z praxe, ktor\u00e9 s\u00fa na katedru dod\u00e1van\u00e9 v\u00fdvojov\u00fdmi oddeleniami in\u017einierskych firiem z okolia Bologne.<\/p>\n<p>Na z\u00e1klade rozhovorov s kamar\u00e1tmi z in\u00fdch univerz\u00edt a odborov by som mohol zhrn\u00fa\u0165 v\u00fdhody \u0161t\u00fadia na MPM v nasledovn\u00fdch bodoch:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u0160t\u00fadium podobn\u00e9 pozit\u00edvam na strednej \u0161kole \u2013 \u010dlovek sa nec\u00edti straten\u00fd v mase, s vyu\u010duj\u00facim sa pozn\u00e1 bli\u017e\u0161ie oproti ve\u013ekokapacitn\u00fdm odborom.<\/li>\n<li>Z\u00edskanie preh\u013eadu v r\u00f4znych aplik\u00e1ci\u00e1ch matematiky vo sf\u00e9re v\u00fdskumu, v\u00fdvoja a praxe.<\/li>\n<li>Mo\u017enos\u0165 n\u00e1jdenia\/znovun\u00e1jdenia vlastnej \u0161pecializ\u00e1cie a zamerania aj v r\u00e1mci druh\u00e9ho stup\u0148a \u0161t\u00fadia.<\/li>\n<li><span id=\"valasek-referencia\">Popri<\/span> nevyhnutn\u00fdch matematick\u00fdch z\u00e1kladoch z\u00edskanie zru\u010dnost\u00ed od za\u010diatku \u0161t\u00fadia v programovan\u00ed a v\u00fdpo\u010dtov\u00fdch aplik\u00e1ci\u00e1ch vyu\u017e\u00edvan\u00fdch aj v praxi (C, C++, Python, Ansys, MatLab, Wolfram Mathematica, at\u010f).<\/li>\n<li>Neust\u00e1le zlep\u0161ovanie kvality \u0161t\u00fadia na z\u00e1klade ka\u017edoro\u010dnej sp\u00e4tnej odozvy a odpor\u00fa\u010dan\u00ed od samotn\u00fdch \u0161tudentov.<\/li>\n<li>V\u00fdu\u010dba anglick\u00e9ho jazyka v ka\u017edom ro\u010dn\u00edku na zlep\u0161enie vyjadrovania sa a prezent\u00e1cie.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<hr \/>\n<div class=\"onetone-animated\" data-animationduration=\"0.9\" data-animationtype=\"zoomIn\" data-imageanimation=\"no\">\n<div class=\"magee-testimonial-box\">\n<div class=\"testimonial-vcard style1\" style=\"padding-bottom: 10px;\">\n<div class=\"testimonial-avatar\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-circle\" src=\"https:\/\/www.math.sk\/mpm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/foto.png\" alt=\"LUK\u00c1\u0160 VAL\u00c1\u0160EK\" \/><\/div>\n<div class=\"testimonial-author\" style=\"padding-top: 20px;\">\n<h4 class=\"name\" style=\"text-transform: uppercase; padding-left: 5px;\">LUK\u00c1\u0160 VAL\u00c1\u0160EK<\/h4>\n<div class=\"title\" style=\"padding-left: 5px;\">Slovensk\u00e1 akad\u00e9mia vied, Bratislava<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"testimonial-content\">\n<div class=\"testimonial-quote\">Ako ka\u017ed\u00fd mlad\u00fd \u010dlovek, aj ja som sa h\u013eadal. Okolo svojich 14-15 rokov som sa venoval v\u0161etk\u00e9mu, ale z\u00e1rove\u0148 aj ni\u010domu. Sk\u00fa\u0161al som vytv\u00e1ra\u0165 anim\u00e1cie, programova\u0165 jednoduch\u00e9 str\u00e1nky alebo programova\u0165 jednoduch\u00e9 k\u00f3dy. Pri v\u0161etk\u00fdch mojich pokusoch si n\u00e1js\u0165 miesto na Zemi st\u00e1l m\u00f4j brat. Pri rozhodovan\u00ed, kam na stredn\u00fa, bolo rozhodnutie jednozna\u010dn\u00e9 gympel. Po ne\u00faspe\u0161nom prijat\u00ed a op\u00e4tovnom sk\u00fasen\u00ed o rok, som rezignoval. Ostal som na Strednej \u0161kole strojn\u00edckej na Vranovskej a v 4. ro\u010dn\u00edku som sa prihl\u00e1sil na vysok\u00fa \u0161kolu. Rozhodoval som sa medzi strojn\u00edckou a stavebnou (na obe som bol prijat\u00fd bez prij\u00edma\u010diek za \u0161tudijn\u00e9 v\u00fdsledky). Neviem pre\u010do, ale viac ma to \u0165ahalo k Stavebnej fakulte, odbor Matematicko-po\u010d\u00edta\u010dov\u00e9 modelovanie. Av\u0161ak m\u00f4j n\u00e1stup nebol tak\u00fd \u00fa\u017easn\u00fd, ako som o\u010dak\u00e1val. Dovtedy som sa nemusel u\u010di\u0165, v\u0161etko mi sta\u010dilo pochopi\u0165 na hodine, ale teraz na univerzite to tak nebolo. Po mojom \u201eexcelentnom\u201c pr\u00edchode pri\u0161iel tvrd\u00fd p\u00e1d. Sk\u00fa\u0161kov\u00e9 obdobie sa v\u00f4bec nepodarilo a ja som sa por\u00fa\u010dal zo \u0161koly. Smutn\u00fd to p\u00e1d jedn\u00e9ho n\u00e1dejn\u00e9ho \u0161tudenta. Po p\u00e1r mesiacoch prebden\u00fdch noc\u00ed a prem\u00fd\u0161\u013eania o \u017eivote som chytil druh\u00fa pr\u00edle\u017eitos\u0165 za pa\u010desy. Skon\u010dil som s bojov\u00fdm umen\u00edm (v ktorom som bol dobr\u00fd a chcel som to dotiahnu\u0165 \u010faleko) a prihl\u00e1sil som sa na kurzy organizovan\u00e9 Stavebnou fakultou. Zopakoval, resp. nau\u010dil som sa veci, ktor\u00e9 by mal \u0161tudent prich\u00e1dzaj\u00faci na univerzitu ovl\u00e1da\u0165 a znova som nast\u00fapil do \u0161koly na rovnak\u00fd \u0161tudijn\u00fd odbor. Teraz som u\u017e vedel, do \u010doho idem.<br \/>\nPrv\u00e9 tri roky na odbore Matematicko-po\u010d\u00edta\u010dov\u00e9 modelovanie (MPM) boli zauj\u00edmav\u00e9, pln\u00e9 nov\u00fdch inform\u00e1ci\u00ed, ale hlavne tie inform\u00e1cie boli pod\u00e1van\u00e9 od t\u00fdch najpovolanej\u0161\u00edch profesorov, docentov a doktorov, ktor\u00ed s\u00fa na Katedre matematiky a deskript\u00edvnej geometrie najlep\u0161\u00ed. Obozn\u00e1mil som sa s modern\u00fdmi met\u00f3dami aplikovanej matematiky (numerick\u00e1 matematika, \u0161tatistika a pod) s r\u00f4znymi programovac\u00edmi jazykmi a grafick\u00fdmi, vizualiza\u010dn\u00fdmi a matematick\u00fdmi softv\u00e9rmi. Preto som po absolvovan\u00ed \u0161t\u00fadia v\u00f4bec nepochyboval o tom, \u010di pokra\u010dova\u0165 \u010falej v pr\u00edslu\u0161nom odbore. V r\u00e1mci in\u017einierskeho \u0161t\u00fadia som si rozv\u00edjal z\u00edskan\u00e9 poznatky v r\u00f4znych t\u00e9mach, ako boli napr. Aplik\u00e1cie numerick\u00fdch met\u00f3d, Modern\u00e9 algoritmy a princ\u00edpy tvorby softv\u00e9rov, Optimaliza\u010dn\u00e9 met\u00f3dy a riadenie at\u010f. Po\u010das dvoch semestrov in\u017einierskeho \u0161t\u00fadia som pracoval na dohodu na \u00dastave informatiky SAV (\u00daI SAV). Tu som z\u00faro\u010dil svoje vedomosti a dosiahnut\u00e9 zru\u010dnosti z\u00edskan\u00e9 po\u010das \u0161t\u00fadia a bolo mi umo\u017enen\u00e9 zapoji\u0165 sa do v\u00fdskumu a nap\u00edsa\u0165 diplomov\u00fa pr\u00e1cu na t\u00e9mu Vyu\u017eitie grafick\u00e9ho pou\u017e\u00edvate\u013esk\u00e9ho rozhrania pri simul\u00e1cii po\u017eiaru. V roku 2012 som ju \u00faspe\u0161ne obh\u00e1jil a z\u00edskal cenu dekana Stavebnej fakulty za najlep\u0161iu diplomov\u00fa pr\u00e1cu.<br \/>\nPo skon\u010den\u00ed \u0161t\u00fadia som nast\u00fapil na \u00daI SAV a pokra\u010doval v doktorandskom \u0161t\u00fadiu, kde som ve\u013emi \u00faspe\u0161ne ukon\u010dil doktorandsk\u00e9 \u0161t\u00fadium v odbore aplikovan\u00e1 informatika na FIIT-ke (\u00daI SAV m\u00e1 dohodu o \u0161kolen\u00ed doktorandov s FIIT STU). V janu\u00e1ri tohto roku som obh\u00e1jil dizerta\u010dn\u00fa pr\u00e1cu na t\u00e9mu Po\u010d\u00edta\u010dov\u00e1 simul\u00e1cia priebehu po\u017eiarov a anal\u00fdza ich d\u00f4sledkov, kde som sa zaoberal po\u010d\u00edta\u010dovou simul\u00e1ciou po\u017eiaru v kinos\u00e1le, modelovan\u00edm evaku\u00e1cie pri po\u017eiari v tuneli a sk\u00famal vplyv paraleliz\u00e1cie na presnos\u0165 v\u00fdpo\u010dtu a efekt\u00edvnos\u0165 realiz\u00e1cie simul\u00e1cie na klastri po\u010d\u00edta\u010dov. Tu bolo ve\u013emi u\u017eito\u010dn\u00e9, \u017ee ako \u0161tudent MPM som sa obozn\u00e1mil s paralelnou realiz\u00e1ciou v\u00fdpo\u010dtov a pou\u017e\u00edvan\u00edm klastra na katedre. V r\u00e1mci doktorandsk\u00e9ho \u0161t\u00fadia som sa z\u00fa\u010dastnil na rie\u0161en\u00ed troch vedecko-v\u00fdskumn\u00fdch projektov a rie\u0161il niektor\u00e9 \u010diastkov\u00e9 \u00falohy projektu financovan\u00e9ho zo \u0161truktur\u00e1lnych fondov Eur\u00f3pskej \u00fanie. S\u00fa\u010das\u0165ou v\u00fdskumu bola aj mesa\u010dn\u00e1 st\u00e1\u017e na poprednom eur\u00f3pskom pracovisku zameran\u00e9ho na v\u00fdskum v oblasti bezpe\u010dnostn\u00e9ho in\u017einierstva a akt\u00edvna \u00fa\u010das\u0165 na konferenci\u00e1ch vo Franc\u00fazku, Gr\u00e9cku a F\u00ednsku. Tie\u017e som sa z poverenia z\u00e1stupcu prezidenta \u010ceskej a Slovenskej simula\u010dnej spolo\u010dnosti z\u00fa\u010dastnil, na zasadnut\u00ed v\u00fdboru Feder\u00e1cie eur\u00f3pskych simula\u010dn\u00fdch spolo\u010dnost\u00ed EUROSIM v roku 2016 v Oulu vo F\u00ednsku a zastupoval t\u00fato spolo\u010dnos\u0165 v zmysle jeho in\u0161trukci\u00ed. Dnes, ako \u010derstv\u00fd post-doktorand sa plne venujem v\u00fdskumu po\u017eiarov na \u00dastave informatiky SAV.<br \/>\nNa z\u00e1ver, by som chcel po\u010fakova\u0165 v prvom rade prof. Mikulovi za jeho entuziazmus pri pr\u00e1ci so \u0161tudentmi a prirodzen\u00fd re\u0161pekt, doc. Handlovi\u010dovej za jej pomoc pri \u0161t\u00fadiu, doc. Frolkovi\u010dovi za jeho nad\u0161enie a v\u00fdu\u010dbu predmetov a celej Katedre matematiky a deskript\u00edvnej geometrie SvF STU.
