Najnov\u0161ie poznatky z\u00edskan\u00e9 po\u010das t\u00fdchto spolupr\u00e1c v\u017edy radi odovzd\u00e1vaj\u00fa svojim \u0161tudentom. \u010casto na projektoch nepriamo spolupracuj\u00fa aj \u0161tudenti, ktor\u00ed pracuj\u00fa na bakal\u00e1rskych a diplomov\u00fdch pr\u00e1cach na t\u00e9mach, ktor\u00e9 nadv\u00e4zuj\u00fa na v\u00fdsledky t\u00fdchto projektov. Z mikroskopick\u00fdch sn\u00edmok tak vznikaj\u00fa 4D vizualiz\u00e1cie a bunkov\u00e9 stromy &#8211; obrazy v\u00fdvoja organizmu v \u010dase. Tie umo\u017e\u0148uj\u00fa sledova\u0165 ako sa men\u00ed spr\u00e1vanie a v\u00fdvoj buniek bez z\u00e1sahu alebo naopak pri injekcii bakt\u00e9rii a v\u00edrusov, respekt\u00edve l\u00e1tok, ktor\u00e9 m\u00f4\u017eu by\u0165 s\u00fa\u010das\u0165ou liekov napr. proti rakovine. Na rozdiel od klasick\u00fdch pr\u00edstupov, ktor\u00e9 s\u00fa zalo\u017een\u00e9 na ur\u010dovan\u00ed tia\u017eov\u00e9ho po\u013ea v spektr\u00e1lnej oblasti, projekt GOCE-numerics vyu\u017e\u00edva efekt\u00edvne numerick\u00e9 met\u00f3dy na spracovanie d\u00e1t v priestorovej oblasti. V snahe dosiahnu\u0165 \u010do najvy\u0161\u0161iu presnos\u0165 ved\u00fa tak\u00e9to met\u00f3dy k ve\u013ekokapacitn\u00fdm paraleln\u00fdm v\u00fdpo\u010dtom na klastroch s distribuovanou pam\u00e4\u0165ou, ktor\u00e9 s\u00fa uskuto\u010d\u0148ovan\u00e9 na na\u0161ej katedre. Virtu\u00e1lna kolonoskopia je nov\u00e1 met\u00f3da, nahr\u00e1dzaj\u00faca klasick\u00fa kolonoskopiu, v ktorej sa v CT pacienta lek\u00e1r pohybuje po n\u00e1jdenej ide\u00e1lnej dr\u00e1he virtu\u00e1lnou kamerou a algoritmami po\u010d\u00edta\u010dovej grafiky h\u013ead\u00e1 polypy na sten\u00e1ch hrub\u00e9ho \u010dreva.
