There will be published two proceedings of ALGORITMY 2000 conference.

Proceedings of plenary lectures will be published as regular Spring 2001 issue (Volume 70/1) of scientific journal Acta Mathematica Universitatis Comenianae (AMUC) devoted to applied and computational mathematics. The guest editors of the issue will be Jozef Kacur, Karol Mikula and Daniel Sevcovic. Original research papers or high quality review articles are welcome. They will be reviewed by standard procedure of the journal. The maximal length of the paper should be about 15 pages.

Please, use Tex for typing the manuscript. AMUC prefers AMS-Tex, but there will be no problem with LaTex or other types of Tex. For instruction for authors please look to journal web page

There is nothing too special, they just require to include Abstract, AMS-classification and Key-words in your manuscript. For information, you can look also to journal issue with Proceedings of plenary lectures of previous ALGORITMY'97 conference.

Your manuscript can be sent electronically to the conference e-mail address, or to e-mail address of Karol Mikula (mikula@vox.svf.stuba.sk) or Daniel Sevcovic (sevcovic@fmph.uniba.sk) or it can be sent by surface mail to the address of Conference Office. The deadline for submition of the paper will be November 15, 2000. Early submition, however, will speed up the process of preparing the issue.

Proceedings of contributed lectures and posters of participants will be published by Slovak University of Technology and should be at disposal during the conference. Angela Handlovicova, Karol Mikula and Magda Komornikova will be editors of this publication. Your contribution will be reviewed by members of Scientific Programme Committee and other anonymous referees. Please, use our latex sample files for preparing the manuscript. If you use Microsoft Word then download and print sample poscript file and try to arrange your Word document as similar as possible to this sample. The length of the paper should not exceed 10 pages. Your manuscript can be sent electronically to the conference e-mail address or it can be sent by surface mail to the address of Conference Office. The deadline for submition is April 30, 2000.
